Last Saturday we attended our friend Shirley's 30th birthday celebration! Shirley is the wife of Rob, an old friend of both mine and Tim's. I went to middle and high school with Rob (though he was Robby back then!). Tim went to Tufts with Rob, where they were roommates for 2 years. When Tim and I met, we realized we had an old friend in common! Anyway, Rob married a wonderful woman named Shirley and we just love this couple to pieces. We are sad though because they just left NY for Boston, where Rob is completing his fellowship in Cardiology at MGH.Rob planned a surprise party for Big Shirl on Randall's Island in NYC. The day included a beer/wine garden and mini golf, apparently one of Shirley's favorite pastimes. Here's Dylan all dressed up and ready to play some mini golf:
