Upstate again!

Last weekend we had a great 3-day getaway to visit Tim's family! The car ride went smoothly, without any major scream fests (yay for Dylan!). Although he only slept for 1/2 an hour of the 4 1/2 hour drive, he spent the rest of the time happily playing, eating, and looking out the window.

We had a successful dinner out at a Hibachi restaurant in Syracuse. Dylan and Sophia loved watching the chef, although they both cried when he lit the vodka on fire! Dylan and I accompanied Aunt Em and Sophia to an info session on baby signs - which was a good reminder to me to be more consistent with signing. We spent a wonderful afternoon at GGMum's, where we ate a delicious dinner. And we had a cozy, lazy Sunday morning before driving home. Dylan slept great both nights and did great again in the car on the way home!
