The first was a trip to the Rockwood Hall section of Rockefeller State Park. Getting there was an adventure in itself, since we could NOT find the entrance to this (free) section of the park (it is totally hidden behind Phelps Memorial Hospital for those who are interested). Once we got started, though, we had a great time. Dylan especially liked this collection of acorns and rocks at the trailhead.

Fun-Filled Fall Weekend, Part I
The weekend before last (the last weekend in September, for those keeping track), Tim took Friday off and we had several fun adventures.
Of course, we must line them all up perfectly.
This is an area where Rockefeller used to have an estate. Now it's just gorgeous land with a gorgeous view of the Hudson River.
