The Boys Meet!
A few Sundays ago, Dylan finally got to meet his comrade - a cousin who doesn't wear pink! Here's a less than stellar pic of the boys hanging out. Dylan was a bit interested in Brian, however Brian was less than impressed with his older cousin (ignore Mimi's blurry hand).
And of course, the girls. Infinite cuteness...on a tire!!
All the cousins! No luck getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time - there was a plane going by and Dylan was intrigued, of course.

Memorial Day Weekend, Part II
Early Sunday morning, Dylan woke up with a definite fever (almost 102, under the arm) and was just not himself. We spent some time snuggling on the couch, watching a Baby Mozart video that Nonna had rented.
Later that day Uncle Andrew and his girlfriend, Alex came out to Weedsport to spend some time with us. After a nap and some Tylenol, Dylan was feeling a bit better and was able to enjoy a short trip to the park (across the street from Nonna's) for lunch and some playground fun.
Later on, we had a barbeque and some more playtime in Nonna's backyard.
"Come on Mom, just one sip?"
Andrew and Alex definitely enjoyed the sandbox in Nonna's backyard more than Dylan did...
Great weekend at Nonna's!

Memorial Day Weekend, Part I
We spent Memorial Day weekend upstate with Tim's family for GGMum's family reunion. We arrived late Friday night. We were all pretty frazzled from a terrible car ride. Dylan was NOT happy about being strapped into his carseat at bedtime. Plus, as we later found out, he was probably not feeling so great, either. He had had his MMR vaccine about 10 days before and wound up getting a fever while we were away (the doctor had said this might happen). Poor little guy...
Here he is Saturday morning, looking dazed (I think he was also a little confused as to why Nonna was giving him pasta for breakfast...).
Bedhead
Before heading to the reunion, we stopped for a visit with Papa Scott and Nana Wendy where we met Uncle Ben, Aunt Em, and Sophia.

After Papa and Nana's house, we headed down the road to the reunion. Dylan was super sleepy at that point so I dropped off Tim and kept driving so Dylan could sleep in the car. Well, for a little boy who generally doesn't sleep much in the car, he did a great job...He slept for TWO hours! I should have realized he wasn't feeling well. I just drove and drove, thinking he would wake up any minute! I got to know the Auburn and Skaneateles area quite well. Thank goodness for our GPS.

Belated Mother's Day Post
We didn't take ANY pictures on my very first Mother's Day (even though I had to wait 363 days to celebrate it!) but we had a great day with my parents and Tim surprised me with a TREE! We had been talking about planting some trees in our yard and I had expressed an interest in getting a pink Dogwood. And that is just what he got for me! It will be so fun to watch it grow each year, and it usually flowers right around Mother's Day! Here are some pictures of Tim and Dylan planting the tree in our front yard a few days after Mother's Day.
"I don't know about this..."

One Year Old - For Real!!
On Dylan's actual birthday, we didn't have big plans. We met up with some mommy and baby friends of ours and I made some cupcakes.
Then Daddy met up with us to pick up Dylan to bring him home so I could go to work - so much for family time! We did take the time to snap a few pics of us with the birthday boy (and the birthday hat, of course:)

Big Boy Birthday Bash!
We celebrated Dylan's first birthday on May 2nd - a little bit early because May is such a busy month for our families this year! We weren't sure what the weather would hold but it turned out to be a nice day!
First, it was just a sun hat. Then it was pizza time, so he needed a bib. Then, well, he needed his birthday crown.
"What is the deal with this silly hat?!"
